Dammit, i should have known. I didn't knock wood, spit, make the sign of the cross. None of it.
Then it started up the night before last, (i think .. i'm fuzzy on days) .. crushing fatigue, burning sinuses. Today it hit me full force ... sneezing, sore throat, ears hurt from the pressure in my head and that mysterious blocked head/runny nose thing that i STILL think should be against some freakin law of physics or nature or something. i mean, hell, air can't get in but snot sure as hell can get out. That just ain't right people. Someone wanna enlighten me on how that's possible?

Kiddo update - Gomez is over his cold and both boys are now cootie-free. Kimo has learned to tie his shoes all by himself. He also lost his top front left tooth, causing the wiggly right tooth to shift over to the center of his gumline. Gomez is taking great joy in proclaiming that his little brother has "Bubba Teeth". The pitiful thing is that tooth is just barely hanging in there. One little tug and it'd be out. But noooooooo he won't let anyone near his mouth. i pointed out that if he'd let me go ahead and pull it he'd have some pocket money from the Tooth Fairy. Gomez quickly followed with "Yeah, and then you'll look just like a bulldog!" (Thanks for the help, Gomez, remind me to smack you later when i have the energy)

Thanksgiving came and went with nary a whimper. The boys were with their Dad and i missed them, but they had alot of fun playing with their cousins on that side of the family.

It's late, i got up to take more cold meds and wanted to jot an entry and touch base with those that worry when i'm not around. It has gotten colder here and has rained off and on all day. It's raining harder right now that it has all day. i think i'm gonna grab my box of Puffs and head back to bed.
